Hi, I'm Jack, owner of Visual Effect Painting & Decorating Perth. I started the business in Westminster in 2013, and I've been painting for 16 years. I have a keen eye for detail and use only quality paints and materials.

We quote per job: fixed price, written, no surprise extras. Every quote is itemised so you know what you're paying for, and we include the materials we'll use, the labour split, and the timeline.
A full interior repaint of a 4-bedroom Perth home typically lands at $8,000 to $18,000, depending on surface condition, ceiling work, and finish level. Exterior repaints vary more with access and substrate. We give you a fixed-price written quote after a 30-minute on-site visit, with no guesswork and no hidden extras.
No. Quotes and on-site colour consultations are free. Jack comes out, walks the job with you, talks through colours if you want, and follows up with a fixed-price written quote, usually within 48 hours.
A cheaper quote almost always means less preparation, lower-grade paint, or a partial scope that grows once the job starts. A "cheap" repaint that skips prep can fail in a couple of years and cost you a full repaint to fix. We quote the whole job up front, including full surface prep and two coats of premium Dulux, so the price you're told is the price you pay, and the finish lasts.
Yes. Our minimum job size is $1,500. Single-wall touch-ups and one-off small jobs aren't a great fit for the way we work, but we're happy to point you to someone better suited to the scope.
Jack is a very professional and nice person. He works quietly and efficiently, to a very high standard. He is very knowledgeable about paint and painting, and knows his business very well. He is punctual, true to his word, cleans up after himself, and will work around you and other trades on site with a very courteous nature.
